Interesting Times

We watched parts of the Democratic and Republican Conventions on TV and on the internet. John cried during the speeches of both Obama and McCain (he also cries during commercials on TV, so it doesn't mean much). I don't agree with Sarah Palin's politics, but her nomination as the Republican VP candidate certainly makes the contest more interesting.
